Our friendly staff are here to accommodate and assist you. Feel free to contact our information desk, situated at the entrance of the terminal building, for assistance when you arrive.

This section will outline the facilities available at our airport. If you’re an aviation enthusiast, or would like to see aeroplanes in action, pop in to see the selection we have on offer and enjoy a first-class front row seat view from our viewing deck. We’re probably the only international airport in the world where you can almost touch the planes and smell the jet fuel.

If you’re looking for a spot to recharge and refuel yourself, we have plenty on offer for you. Ample space, plug points, lounge facilities and WI-FI on offer, but to name a few. For international travellers we have foreign exchange facilities and duty-free shopping available.

Service Animals

Lanseria International Airport is a proud partner of the South African Guide dog’s association and endeavours to provide access to passengers with service dogs.

Passengers are advised to check with your airline on the specific requirements of bringing service animals on flights.

At the airport, the service animal and you will be escorted by airport staff throughout your period of stay at the airport. If your service animal needs to answer the call of nature, both of you will be brought to an appropriate facility.

Mobility Equipment

Requesting wheelchairs from airlines
If you require a wheelchair from Lanseria International Airport to your destination airport or vice versa, you may make a request to your airline at the time of booking to at least 48 hours before flight departure.

Using personal mobility equipment
If you are planning to travel with your own personal mobility equipment, do contact your airline in advance to make the necessary arrangements. Your airline will also advise on personal mobility equipment accepted on different aircrafts, things to note when packing equipment for carriage, as well as time for you to be present for check-in if using personal mobility equipment to the boarding gate. Porter Service

If you require assistance with your baggage, you can make use of our porters at the drop off and pick up zone. They are there to assist you with your luggage or if you would like to drop off and elderly passenger, they will take care of the passenger all the way to the check in counters.

WI-FI Facilities

Limited free WI-FI is available in the terminal building. If you need a bit more, a pay as you go option is available.

ATM's

FNB, Absa, Nedbank and Standard Bank ATM's are available.

Lost and Found

If you have left anything behind at the airport or on your flight, kindly contact the airline concerned to assist you with tracking down your item/s. If anything has been handed in to us, you may collect it from the Baggage office in the Arrivals hall, near the exit door.
