Over the past twenty-seven years, Air 2000 has become a by-word in the African hunting industry. In this time, more hunters have flown with Air 2000 than with any other charter company on the continent. The company has a variety of aircraft in its fleet, and can offer cost-effective options for flights throughout Africa.

In 1989, Air 2000 launched the "Hunters' Support" service, to provide hunters with a comprehensive range of services that ensured a smooth arrival in Africa, a trouble-free transfer to the hunting camp, pre- and post-hunt travel arrangements, and a comfortable departure at the end of the hunt. The service includes the arrangement of Firearm Import Permits, meet and greet services at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport, road airport / hotel transfers, and, of course, air charter services.

MISSION AVIATION FELLOWSHIP (MAF)

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) South Africa is an NPO who aims to reach the “unreachable” through aviation; bringing food, aid, medical care and other supplies to isolated people groups in South Africa and surrounding countries. MAF aims to multiply the effectiveness of the church by using aviation and technology to overcome physical barriers.

MAF has been operating in South Africa since the 1970’s and is part of a worldwide organisation, operating in 32 countries with 122 aircraft. MAF SA is also a training base for MAF International pilots.

MAF offers safe and reliable local commercial charter flights with our fleet of Lanseria based aircraft consisting of a Cessna 206 and a Cessna 208 Grand Caravan. MAF pilots are exceptionally skilled and trained for operating into remote bush destinations with small dirt airstrips, and our aircraft are all designed for these services.

MAF also offers private C206 and C208 type conversions by our skilled instructor pilots.
